A twenty nine year career as a Registered Massage Therapist has allowed Steve to develop a unique style and ease of treatment with people. The client assessment and treatment is based on best practices in massage therapy and uses many different methods and theories of treatment.

Treatment goals may be based on physical outcomes but the treatments are also designed to produce a relaxation response in your body. Although producing a relaxation response may sound like a very simple process it does have an immensely profound effect on your body. The American Medical Association believes almost 80% of all disease has a relation to out of control stress levels

Steve’s training began at the University of Calgary where he received a Bachelor of Physical Education Degree and continued at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy where he became a member of the College of Massage Therapist of BC which has the highest standard for massage therapy in North American.

His academic background combined with many, many years of clinical work as varied as sports massage with the Vancouver Canucks to palliative care with the Comox Hospice Society allows Steve to provide you with a treatment tailored to what you vision a massage therapy session should be.
